Over the course of this past month I’ve been sharing some very different, and at times uncomfortable, truths and perspectives regarding adoption.
Today, however, I’m going to be sharing how incredibly blessed I have been over this past year.
First and foremost, I have to thank God for the life I have been given. He seriously has woven together this incredible story for me to finally own and to share.
He has placed all the right people in my life at the right time and has reconnected me to people/friendships for which I’m forever grateful. Please continue to pray for all of those who make up the triad of adoption; adoptees, birth/natural parents and adoptee parents. Adoption is extremely difficult and complex for everyone involved to navigate at various stages of life.
This year not only have I reclaimed my voice, but I also reclaimed who I was always meant to be. I’m truly proud of myself and the journey it has been these past few years. I would not have been able to do this without Jesus and therapy (Scott).
